
There’s not much to say about this jig. It can be found in FJ O’Neill’s Dance Music of Ireland (1907). Actually, there is one small point: most people play the first part with F naturals in the lower octave, giving it a mixolydian feel, but in O’Neill they are given as F sharps. This may be a typo (O’Neill is replete with them) or the Fs may be a later development. It would be good to know.
